Celebrating 10 Years of Work for Peace

Peace, healing and strengthening our communities have been the driving force behind the Foundation’s work since our start in 2005. At our 10th Annual Gala on November 1st, we gathered at the San Mateo Elks Lodge and celebrated our endeavors of the decade. At the start of the evening program, Stacey Redman, President and founder of the Foundation, shared our accomplishments in the area of addiction recovery: providing safe and sober housing for over 60 young men in treatment at Tim’s House; anti-violence: working in partnership with Sequoia High School, Wildlife Associates and Acknowledge Alliance to run the Transition Program for youth re-entering school after expulsion and/or incarceration; and grief support: serving...
