It was a great day on the golf course in Half Moon Bay! The sun was out and everyone was happy to be on the Ocean Course at the Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay. Thank you to our wonderful tournament sponsors including Dimerico, AccesseHR, Terrace Consulting, GSI Insurance and Ameriprise for making this e vent possible. Congratulations to the winning foursome: David and GarettLentz, Thor Berge, and Joe Shaughnessy. We raised a record amount of money to use for the important work we do every year. A big thank you to TGF board member Stephen Hsu who made this tournament a great success. We hope you can all join us in 2023!
The 2021 tournament was cancelled due to COVID. However, the 2019 TGF Golf Tournament was a big hit! More than 55 attendees enjoyed the beautiful course, great food, fun competition, an exciting raffle, and best of all, knowing that the proceeds from the event will support the work of the Foundation.
We are proud to announce that our dedicated volunteers sold over $5,000 worth of raffle tickets, 100% going directly to the Foundation programs.
Our tournament winners were rewarded with prizes and bragging rights until next year. Team Cunningham and the Retired Softball Players (Team O'Malley) tied for first place with a 61. Team Cunningham also won the tie breaker and the tournament. Go Team Cunningham! Team Camilleri finished third with a 62.
The Longest Drive contest for men was won by Anthony O'Malley and the Longest Drive contest for women was won by Lisa Braizel. Our Accuracy contest was won by Rick Wright. The Closest to the Pin contests were won by Bob Huff and by Anthony O'Malley.
