Welcoming Our New Board Member

George began volunteering with the Foundation in 2019 at our Annual Gala, and most recently participated as a member of the TGF Scholarship Committee, helping to select deserving recipients of college education grants.

He found this work fulfilling as it combined several of his personal interests including a commitment to life-long learning and a desire to see greater social justice for the youth of our communities. George joined our Board of Directors in April 2021.

He is motivated to work for the greater good based on events that call for social change, such as the backlash experienced by the AAPI community and the plight of minorities in dealings with police authority. This led George to study constitutional law during his pursuit of his law degree and to devote his college breaks to volunteering for organizations including Habitat for Humanity.

As an Employment Lawyer based in South San Francisco, George brings a valued set of skills to our leadership team. George earned his J.D. from UC Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, where he was an editor on the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly and recipient of the Pro Bono Publico Award for Outstanding Service to the Community through the provision of Voluntary Legal Services.

He has been a volunteer mediator at the San Francisco Superior Court and Community Boards in San Francisco, and is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and a OneTrust Certified Privacy Professional.

As a self-described life-long learner, George is eager to help promote social justice in our communities.
